GEN-Z Are DITCHING College In Favor Of TRADE SCHOOLS! - YouTube
This is a factor of the H1B visa debate not being mentioned.
How college education became unafordable. On one hand schools felt they should be elite, and on the other government loans fueled that further. Meanwhile, overseas elite kids have been able to claim they have skills for jobs. That Americans certainly desire to do.
So, companies do not desire to pay Americans who can. And, the pipeline for talent is impeded by high education expenses. But, they let the kids from elsewhere come, and just claim Americans are deficient.
Kids ditching college for trade schools, proves American kids are trying,. And the cost is getting in the way. Not a lack of desire.
And also meanwhile, we see layoffs all over. While companies claim they can't find talent. Crying for more H1B visas.
