A few weeks ago, perhaps against better judgment, I took the kids to our church to see the Florida Orchestra perform George Frideric Handel's, "The Messiah", which is no less than 2.5 hours long. Lynn was away on business so our neighbor came to help (God bless her). We made it to intermission. Long enough to hear one of my favorite pieces in the opus, "Unto Us A Child Is Born," which quotes Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." I have been pondering the "government" part ever since - as it seems our government is run by anyone but Jesus. I have seen it also translated as "sovereignty", meaning supreme power or authority. Fast forward a few thousand years to Jesus himself. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) I rejoice that God loves us enough to finish this story. Sovereignty does not rest on the shoulders of ______ (insert name, company, global governing body) because Jesus overcame the world. Merry Christmas, friends.
Sassy takes smaller bites now that she is 33 but she still has all her teeth! Sundae (our milk goat) only has teeth on the bottom jaw (normal for goats) so she typically loses the apple eating contest.
Speaking of teeth, I used to get cavities all the time. I was likely vitamin D deficient. But I may have been vitamin K deficient as well. Did you know that you need vitamin K2 to absorb vitamin D3 into your bones? I started taking the fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil from @greenpastureproducts and my problem swiftly ended. That was 15 years ago but I still take it today. You get 10% off with promo code “ALISON” at check out. https://greenpasture.org/
Carla the miracle chicken was crafting up a storm this morning while also responsibly using the paper towel port-a-potty. We were using a diaper but her tail feathers got in the way.
We keep our brains curious and creative for craft time by ensuring we get enough Omega 3s as well as vitamins A, D & K. The fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil from @greenpastureproducts is a great food based source of the above, and ended my chronic cavity battle. They say to “lift heavy” in your 40s. Nothing like 100 lbs hay bales and 50 lbs feed bags for a “functional fitness” workout.
I keep my bones strong at 45-years young with strength training and the fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil from @greenpastureproducts. I used to battle chronic cavities and now get cavity-free check ups. It’s fermented instead of high heat processed like our ancestors made it. Sharyl Attkisson, one of my favorite journalists who is still in mainstream media, is returning to my show tomorrow (Thursday). She recently released this video about cell towers, which caught my eye given my recent cell tower journey. Big thanks to a Local’s subscriber for alerting me to it. Any questions for Sharyl, please leave below in comments. We will be live at 12:30P ET.
Tell HHS to update their RF /EMF exposure limits. They’re taking public comment but time is running out. Send in your personal story or research you have done. The deadline is 11:59 PM TONIGHT Eastern time. I sent in a comment about my Cell Tower battle.
