#DISNEYMUSTPAY #FOSTERVDISNEY #STARWARS Alan Dean Foster wrote STAR WARS, the novelization of the first film. He has recently gone public with claims that Disney is not paying him contractual royalties since acquiring Lucasfilm. He is now being assisted by SFWA (Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America) who have started the online movement #DISNEYMUSTPAY. Though SFWA says Foster has received royalties on ALIEN, ALIENS, and ALIEN 3, he is still awaiting a resolution on STAR WARS. Disney released the following statement: “We are carefully reviewing whether any royalty payments may have been missed as a result of acquisition integration and will take appropriate remedial steps if that is the case.”

We buy a roll of hay every other week not so much because the cows eat it all but because King Peter likes a nice fluffy bed that doubles as a look-out station. Of course he and Tod end up urinating and defecating on the hay which makes it less than ideal for the cows. We are working on putting up yet more fencing so the boys don’t have access to the cow hay but for now Pete is living large.
