While kids are at vacation Bible school right now, our cows are both at vacation bull school, which I’ve also been calling Love Camp.
Mommy Cow, our angus, has been with an angus bull for almost 6-weeks and now Maisy, our mini Jersey/Dexter cross, is with a mini Jersey bull.
By the grace of God (and I truly mean that) I met another mom at church who happened to mention their family just got into farming and they bought an A2 Jersey bull. After two unsuccessful artificial insemination attempts using mini Jersey bull semen, I have been looking for the “real deal”. It is very hard to find a mini Jersey bull “for rent” - most people want to sell you the bull but I don’t want one here for safety reasons.
We had considered a (very cute) Highland bull but hadn’t taken Maisy there yet. Then, boom! The perfect bull just appears 30 minutes down the road. If all goes well, we should have a calf and fresh milk next Spring!
Don’t forget you can support the farm and your health by shopping with Green Pasture and using “ALISON” as your promo code at check out. The fermented cod liver/butter oil saved my teeth after a lifetime of chronic cavities. They also have a great muscle/chest rub for when you’re sore or sick. https://greenpasture.org/
Margarita is one of our dairy goats. We recently gave her what we thought was an excellent opportunity at date night but she was less than grateful. Pete however was very happy!
Healthy pregnancy means keeping mama healthy - and as an older mom I take my daily dose of fermented cod liver oil / concentrated butter oil from Green Pasture for its omega 3s and vitamins A,D &K. It ended my lifelong battle with cavities and is genuinely great food-based source of nutrition. You get 10% off with promo code "ALISON" at checkout. https://greenpasture.org/
Have you ever read the insert that comes with your cell phone? Longtime investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson told me she remembers getting her first cell phone with a warning not to hold it next to her head. Decades later, she checked and the warning came with her latest cell phone.
Omega 3s are a great way to give your body fuel to fight oxidative stress like what’s caused by RF radiation. It’s one reason I take a daily dose of the fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil from @greenpastureproducts - it saved my teeth from chronic cavities years ago. We got back late and knew we were close to chicken predation time. My best idea was to tell the kids to run screaming toward the back pasture. We didn’t lose any animals so maybe it worked? At least it looked funny. I’m sure the neighbors were a little bewildered - or not because we are probably already known as “those neighbors”. 😂
Anyway, you gotta have teeth to scream “GIT OUTTA HUR” at foxes and coyotes so go get that fermented cod liver / concentrated butter oil from Green Pasture! It healed my chronic battle with cavities. It’s also packed with anti-inflammatory omega-3s. We take it every day. It has been part of my daily routine for 15 years. You get 10% off at checkout with promo code “ALISON”. https://greenpasture.org/
I’ll be live at 330P ET tomorrow (Thursday) with Environmental Health Trust Exec Dir Theodora Scarato discussing this news. DHS is testing an EMF weapon - so we are moving from wireless communication to wireless weapons? According to CNN: “The heat ray, officially known as the Active Denial System, is a nonlethal weapon that shoots an invisible beam of electromagnetic waves that can reach a little more than half a mile away, according to the US military.” Any questions for my guest? Please leave below. See ya tomorrow! https://www.cnn.com/2026/10/21/politics/heat-ray-weapon-dhs-pentagon
