Hulk Hogan was my neighbor growing up on Clearwater Beach. We used to see their family out enjoying the sand just like the rest of us. So when I heard the news that he died, I packed the kids into the truck and drove to his restaurant, Hogan’s Hangout. My dad told me yesterday he appreciated that Hogan took a small business approach to his restaurant and store, unlike some of the mega corporations who have moved in over the years. Bill Dorris is back for this one - in case you missed him! The neighborhood is a little quieter this week after local schools started back up again. We homeschool, so on the “first day of school” yesterday, we visited our friend’s farm and milked her huge Brown Swiss cow. We took so many “classes” in that short 30 minutes. Science, math, spelling, nutrition, even gym class!
