QUESTIONS? Judge dismissed my case against Washington state

Judge Tiffany Cartwright has decided in favor of Washington state in my 1st Amendment case. The state's attorneys argued that the Silent Majority Foundation filed my case a couple days too late, and the judge agreed - meaning that she decided I am barred from continuing due to the statute of limitations. This news is just as shocking to me as it may be for some of you - I was speechless when I found out and even now I don't really know what to say. Attorney Pete Serrano is joining me Monday to answer your questions. If you want to read the documents, you can do so at the link below. I inquired about appealing, but Pete and the legal team advised me that I had no real chance - and Washington was asking I pay their attorneys fees, which could have totaled $50,000 or more. They were willing to drop that request if I dropped the case.

I am truly grateful for everyone who has supported me since the beginning here on Locals, through wine or cod liver oil, via the GiveSendGo or through the mail - from the day I lost my job and health insurance to now, all for refusing to censor some of this country's best doctors and scientists. You have bought our groceries, paid for our electricity, helped with babysitting and kept my journalism alive. You have proven that someone can choose what is righteous at great cost - and God will provide. I cannot thank you enough. Though I am bewildered by the outcome to say the least - I am trusting all things work for the good of those who serve God and are called to His purpose. I remain hopeful that this community of truth seekers has many more adventures ahead. God bless all of you.

I caught a fox as she stole our rooster!

I walked out around dusk to find our rooster, Hei Hei, in the mouth of a fox after what appeared to have been quite a struggle on his part. I sprinted as fast as I could, yelling like I was on fire, and the fox let go. Miraculously, Hei Hei walked away, though he lost quite a few feathers. It took him less than 12 hours to go back to sneak attacking me. No good deed goes unpunished! If you’re fighting off foxes, gain that extra few seconds for help to come by taking your cod liver/butter oil! https://www.greenpasture.org/ Use promo code “ALISON” at check out for 10% off. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return

We were stuck for 2 hours on the Sunshine Skyway bridge over Tampa Bay today due to a fatal accident. Watching everyone get out of their vehicles, take selfies, throw footballs, fish, and wonder when they’d get home - while someone was dead just yards ahead - reminded me of my days in TV news, which were filled with these odd juxtapositions of both the most humbling moments and those of routine frivolity. Most people were probably just hoping the road would reopen, though perhaps for a few seconds they considered the life and death of the person up ahead. It will be the same for all of us someday. Few will remember or even care. Even those who are hoping money or power will save them, those who may end up in a history book, will still meet the same fate. And though this seems a morose Easter message, I find it to be oddly fitting for the day we Christians remember our only hope. There is no identity that will last, no bank account, fame or statue that will save us - for dust we are and to dust we ...
