With your chicken posts, I thought I might suggest heritage breed turkeys also. We had a lone hatch-out, that now believes I'm its mom. (That's its dad - mom is on her nest.) It loves car and bike rides. Watching videos with me, and has been known to snuggle.
Didn't think I'd like turkey's. Now I think everyone needs a turkey.
As for utility, the male protects our flock both by sheer size, and also calling when eagles fly over. We can eat the eggs, hatch them for more food or mates, or sell the hatchlings. For this one (Nugget), if it's a girl, we'll keep it. If it's a boy, people have lined up to adopt it.
The one downside, the males are a bit of ummm... a "Texas leg-hound" to put it politely.
We put the green donut on two of our bucklings (Peter’s sons, Butter and Floppy) as I’ve yet to sell them and they’re getting to be breeding age. Don’t need them making babies with their sisters. I was actually surprised by how little the boys seemed to care, especially once they were no longer restrained.
Jenny McCarthy is on talking about her son's autism and vaccines - I am right after her.

The arbiters of all things “misinformation” say they’ve done a “manual review” of my 9-ft weed video and confirmed it is “not suitable for most advertisers.” I went from censored over doctors/scientists to silenced over my goat pasture maintenance. SMH. 🤦🏼♀️
