Bye bye BOGO! 🐐

Our little buckling, BOGO, went off to his new home today. You may remember we got his mom, Margarita, as a ā€œfat and maybe pregnant, but probably just fatā€ doe last year. Then we came home one night to a newborn. Bogo (Buy One Get One) is the first goat we’ve sold since we’ve been in the goat ā€œbusinessā€ (business is probably a stretch, let’s say, game…) so it was bittersweet but he’s going to a great new home with a new girlfriend his age - I’m sure they’ll be busy in no time!

The TRUTH: why more cell towers are being built

When cell tower companies apply for a permit, they often claim that it is for public health or safety.

The truth is that in-home streaming has become so popular, they see a new multi-billion dollar profit frontier and are trying to get you to bundle your cell phone service with your Wi-Fi. If we are not careful, this will mean multiple cell towers in neighborhoods everywhere.

Our neighborhood just got fiber and we already have 3 cell towers nearby. Now they want to build a 4th tower next door.

Please help us stop the unnecessary tower from going up right next to our farm. Send a quick email to:

ā€œI oppose the Blue Sky cell tower application CU-2026-00003 in Crystal River. It is unnecessary. Please deny the conditional use permit.ā€

Dumbest cell tower award goes to…

I have gotten two main comments about my cell tower activism, and I get them so often, I decided to make a video awards show to recognize them. Thank you to all applicants!
(I got none here on Locals. Sorry no awards here.)

Help us STOP THE CELL TOWER by emailing [email protected] ā€œI oppose the Blue Sky cell tower, application CU-2026-00003 planned for Crystal River.ā€

Omega-3ā€˜s are great for reducing inflammation - and I like how they give my body a boost against EMF. I get mine from the fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil at Green Pasture. Since it is fermented like our ancestors used to do it, and not processed with high heat, it preserves much more nutritional content. Dump the cheap fish oil. It is packed with vitamins A, D & K. It saved my teeth from chronic cavities 15 years ago. Use promo code ā€œALISONā€ at checkout for 10% off. https://greenpasture.org/

The case of the stolen cell tower signs

We just recovered 3 stolen ā€œSTOP THE CELL TOWERā€ signs after a young lady stole them last week. We had them up outside neighbors’ homes and one neighbor has a security camera so we caught her in the act. We filed a report and the deputy said the 17-year old walked right into her house in front of her granddad and got the signs. He said the motive is that her family is friends with the proposed cell tower property owners.

You can help us stop the tower by sending a quick email to [email protected] - tell her ā€œI oppose the planned Blue Sky cell tower Application # CU-2026-00003. Please deny the conditional use permit.ā€

Chasing yard sign thiefs takes a lot of energy and mental acumen! That’s why I make the fermented cod liver/concentrated butter oil from Green Pasture part of my daily regimen. It gives me a daily boost of omega 3s to boost my brain power and vitamins A, D & K for healthy bones and eyes. It saved my teeth 15 years ago. You get 10% off with promo code...
