Chickens. They have so many uses. Eggs. Babysitting. Grocery store assistant! There is snow just north of us and it was in the low 30s this morning! Here’s some video of our indoor playtime after my show today.

We woke up to a baby chick this morning. It’s the first time we have ever used an incubator and hatched a check, I was not sure it would work. So many things go wrong - or not as expected - when farming, it is truly magical when something actually works. I promised Lynn after the dairy cow “no more animals” - whoops.

My friend commented, “Florida drivers!” She is so right. Wrong way, too slow, stopping in middle of road. This is my life every night at feeding time.
