I shared with a friend that I was drinking one of my FIRST EVER matcha lattés with milk from our own goat. She said “I’m drinking matcha too! But the expensive kind.” (Her drink was $6 from Starbucks.) It inspired me to do a video (which will hopefully be up tomorrow) about the real cost of food - and what my latté entailed. Any guesses about what it cost to enjoy my FIRST home grown latté?
My family is watching the movie Twisters right now and I find it interesting (SPOILER WARNING BTW) that part of the solution of the movie is to put silver iodide in the solution that they let up into the tornado. They even talk about cloud seeding in the movie.
The movie definitely makes an emotional plea for using chemicals to affect the weather.
