In my humble opinion, this is a total psyop. This home "just so happened" to get remodeled "6" months ago. To "reduce the energy footprint" and they "got lucky" and the entire blocked burned, minus this house. The architect is bragging on Twitter. And was conveniently at the house as the media showed up. And, a house across the street is still literally burning. No keeping them out for safety reasons. This, is all one big "smart city" psyop!

I live in North Orange County. We are safe from this round of fires, but we have coworkers who had to evacuate. As far as we know their houses are safe, but many others weren’t as fortunate.
