This is the second time in just days we have come home to find the chickens and ducks outside the coop when they were supposed to be inside. The first time we blamed it on the goats. This time the goats could not have done it. Who is the responsible party?
Spotted “Daddy” and “Mommy” cow over at the neighbor’s again today. Hot wire is in the near future but until then, we’re grateful for patient neighbors and cows who will at least return when called for dinner.
Lily and I had dreamed up a jam business recently after making some with our friend’s roselle - the “Florida cranberry”. Unfortunately after our first batch, his whole row of bushes died in this week’s frost. So, I will have to go back to selling fermented cod liver / butter oil! 🤣(Link below)
