We got a direct lightning hit yesterday and we are lucky our house didn’t catch fire. However it did kill the limping Internet. (Along with several other appliances like the washer and TV.) So I haven’t been able to do a livestream or upload clips. Never fear though -- we HAVE been able to secure 2 ducks!
I met a local vet at a nearby dairy today to get some minerals from him. I drove through the gate and past thousands of acres of lucious green grass thinking, “what a beautiful place to raise cows!” But that’s not where the cows live. And the grass is harvested as hay then shipped to feed someone else’s animals. What an interesting food system we have…
