As a TV reporter, I rarely wore make-up until right before I went on-air, and sometimes I never wore it at all. I often did the most minimal "hair styling" aka - I brushed my hair. The Johnson Amendment is a 1954 statute that says nonprofit organizations —501c3’s, including churches— may not endorse or oppose political candidates if they want to keep their tax-exempt status.
