The federal government coordinated with universities like Stanford, NYU and the University of Washington to censor speech during the Covid pandemic, says Andrew Lowenthal, who investigated the Virality Project. According to a report released by the House Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) instigated the Election Integrity Partnership, the precursor to the Virality Project.
