I got a few “cholesterol is bad for you” comments on my coconut oil homemade chocolate, so I figured I’d repost this interview with Dr. Makary. When people get a high cholesterol diagnosis, the doctor often says “stay away from high cholesterol foods like eggs.” This doctor is uniformed due to massive corporate food & pharmaceutical spending. When someone has high cholesterol, it is almost always due to eating processed carbs/sugars and other inflammatory items like processed seed oils or glyphosate. The body’s natural healing response to this inflammation is to produce cholesterol. Stress can also cause this reaction. Dietary cholesterol is almost 0% of that # you get from the lab. Our bodies, especially our brains, need cholesterol. The bad medical advice is how we got a country where 1/3 of the entire population is on statins and almost 50% of men over 75 take the drug. According to a study done by UCLA, patients studied with early mild cognitive impairment taking ...
The kids and I visited a friend’s farm today and got to meet a few piglets. I’ve never heard anything so small make such a loud noise and that includes my kids. Guess we’ll stick with goats.
I cut refined, processed sugars a couple years ago but I have a MAJOR sweet tooth (which I’ll blame on my dad’s genetics). As many of you know, I have been making homemade chocolate ever since (also thanks to my dad who taught me how), and it has satisfied all cravings. Big thank you to Medea Galligan with New Earth Natural Medicine for suggesting we switch from cocoa powder to cacao powder to really make it superfood chocolate! (She does consults to help you heal with real food, so check her out!) Our chocolate is full of antioxidants, MCTs, prebiotics, probiotics, minerals, vitamins and it’s also delicious. It’s so easy to make with kids, and now we are selling it at farmer’s markets! Try it and let me know how it turns out - or just come to a market and buy it from us!
The UN demands censorship of the Internet, "we need to take global action" - YouTube
Keep in mind, demonitization <> censorship. In @AlisonMorrow 's case. A video was deemed not suitable for YouTube's advertisers. And, it is very much YouTube's role, to ensure ads are running on material that won't upset their advertisers. Advertisers do not want their products aligned with certain things. So, this matter of censorship being discussed is far beyond a discussion of demonitization.
