I am considering a video about the Nashville school shooting because of a line I have read a couple times: "The Covenant School was then singled out for an attack while a second – undisclosed – location was apparently ruled out because it had a higher level of security," the Police Chief said. Perhaps because it is "undisclosed" or perhaps because it doesn't fit the calls for gun control, I've yet to see exploration of what kind of security this second location had. It would seem that if that was a strong deterrent, it might behoove a journalist to ask why? What else do you think is missing from the coverage?
The neighborhood is a little quieter this week after local schools started back up again. We homeschool, so on the “first day of school” yesterday, we visited our friend’s farm and milked her huge Brown Swiss cow. We took so many “classes” in that short 30 minutes. Science, math, spelling, nutrition, even gym class!
We just sold homemade superfood chocolate at our first farmer's market. Here's a look at what it was like - and what we learned for successful sales!
