We took photo #1 on my birthday hike today. A couple hours later, my water broke. We are at the local hospital here in NE Oregon and I’m the only one in the labor and delivery ward. Interestingly, our home hospital told me they’re diverting patients elsewhere because they have “unsafe” (low) staffing levels. Not sure when the new Associate Producer will arrive but he’s on his way. I’ll keep you posted and prayers are appreciated!
Spotted “Daddy” and “Mommy” cow over at the neighbor’s again today. Hot wire is in the near future but until then, we’re grateful for patient neighbors and cows who will at least return when called for dinner.
Lily and I had dreamed up a jam business recently after making some with our friend’s roselle - the “Florida cranberry”. Unfortunately after our first batch, his whole row of bushes died in this week’s frost. So, I will have to go back to selling fermented cod liver / butter oil! 🤣(Link below)
