We went to a kid rodeo today and saw mutton bustinā for the first time. If youāre not familiar, itās like bull riding but on a sheep and meant for little kids to learn. The sheep just haul tail as fast as they can. Most kids fall off in less than a second or two. This kid was not letting his sheep get off so easy.
Itās that time of year again when my neighbors stare at me like Iām totally insane (wait thatās everyday) while I take an early morning dip in the cow water trough.

One of those, my dad got her to start drinking kefir daily years ago. But perhaps her best practice: she never refuses the chance to take an afternoon nap, and the older I get, the more Iām with her on the value of rest. Hereās to 100 next year!
