Ariadna Jacob has filed a $6.2 million defamation lawsuit against the New York Times and its reporter at the time, Taylor Lorenz (who now works for the WaPo). The lawsuit claims an August 2020 article by Lorenz contained “numerous false and disparaging statements” about Jacob, who was an agent for several high profile TikTok influencers at the time.

I took the kids to Adventure Island yesterday for the last weekend before it closes for the season. They close because no one comes swimming because it’s “too cold”. Yesterday, the high was 85 degrees and the park was almost completely empty. I can’t judge. I love the sunshine too. But I do love a good cold plunge.
