OK esteemed Editorial Board members, I finally finished my "City Girl Goes to Rodeo" video set to my own rendition of "Rodeo" by Garth Brooks. Originally I’d planned to sing while walking around the rodeo to annoy people but I didn’t have Lynn’s help with the shooting and didn’t want to punish our friends by making them follow me around. I can't decide if it is entertaining or embarrassing - let's vote before I make it public on YouTube!
Last night was a long one as we attempted artificially inseminating Maisy for the 2nd time. The last go-round in August didn’t take. Maisy is an A2A2 jersey/dexter cross who is hopefully going to be our family milk cow someday. We are grateful for our AI tech @tessdariano who did 99% of the work. There was an ice cream truck circling the neighborhood while the mission was underway, blaring the traditional ice cream truck song, which made for a quite fitting background soundtrack. Three weeks and we should know if we have a lil’ Maisy on the way. Dad’s name is Billy the Kid. He’s quite handsome. Swim Billy, swim!
I woke up to this today. Our mini Jersey cross, Maisy, is so small she can walk under Daddy Cow. When he mounts her, his hooves can still touch the ground. The AI didn’t work a few months ago with Maisy so we’re hopefully trying again today.
Is she why "Karen" was played up as a dirty word? She exposed it all, before the "movements". Before it was cool to call it out.
