Just got back from butchering chickens. I watched the Russel Brand “censored” videos on the way (YouTube removed one of his videos for saying something positive about ivermectin). I’d like your feedback on it all as I prepare a video.
Sharing this comment on the Russell Brand video to show two things I discuss regularly: hero worship on the internet & how that leads to a similar environment as the one I left in corporate news. When audiences seek the messenger over the messages, emotionally attaching to a personality rather than digesting information with skepticism regardless of who’s saying it, it creates similar bias echo chambers where creators simply stick to safe topics, applauding their audience’s assumed heroes and attacking obvious villains.
