I stopped recording just as the clapping began but you’ll see why the Producer was the star today. She pushed a cart of 12 storage conatainers to the only open self checkout and parked it right next to the scanner! (Note: she weighs 27 lbs) We are using the containers to make our garden. The standing ovation from all the clerks was too cute.
We had severe weather with tornado watches yesterday so Carla the chicken did the live reporting. She is the best friend a kid has ever had - she takes all of Lily’s antics in stride and goes along for the fun. We buy a roll of hay every other week not so much because the cows eat it all but because King Peter likes a nice fluffy bed that doubles as a look-out station. Of course he and Tod end up urinating and defecating on the hay which makes it less than ideal for the cows. We are working on putting up yet more fencing so the boys don’t have access to the cow hay but for now Pete is living large.
