A reporter at WSAZ, the NBC affiliate in Huntington, West Virginia, was hit by a car on live television. She was alone in the dark without a photographer which is more and more common as a cost-cutting mechanism in TV news. I discuss how this "one man band" phenomenon has affected journalism as a whole, since I did it for many years.
We got a trailer (finally thanks to a generous Christmas gift from my parents) after 3 years without one since selling ours to move from Washington to Florida.
